I LIVE for the discounts – don’t we all? Let me share with you really quick discounts you can receive as an Occupational Therapy Practitioner (and even some that are relevant for students)! *Some of these may be more geared towards School-based therapists.
First thing is first, make sure you get yourself verified through ID.me! Explore the website and do this here. It is free, but you will need sufficient proof of a document to verify that you are an OT. If you work in the schools, you can select to get the Teacher discounts as well. From here, this opens the door to MANY discounts and cash back offers! And yes, students can do this too, including if you are an alumni of a college there are alumni discounts as well!

All you have to do is sign up for free here to start saving! It’s very quick – it just asks for the name of your school district, your name, and school email. I got instantly verified!
This is a great opportunity to save on craft supplies and organization setup. My two favorite items to get from Michaels is the photo storage organizer to organize school-based materials in and also fun beads to place in putty for children to manipulate during fine motor warmups!

2. Target Teacher Appreciation and College Students: 20% off one entire purchase
This offer is valid from July 14th-August 24, 2024. RUN AND GO GET IT! Verify yourself here to get the discount to add to your circle account. It’s very easy and I have used it the past few years…. yes this works for school-based OT’s and PT’s!

3. Staples 20% Teacher Discount

Although it says Teacher Discount, make sure you are verified with ID.me (it will ask for a credential such as your badge). ID.me recognizes OT’s and you will be able to get this discount as well! Great way to possible save on printer paper, ink, printers, etc. Find more information about it here.
4. TGP Creations: 15% Discount for Teachers
Many school-based OT’s may use their products such as the popular Kwik Stix. OT’s can get this discount (Along with First Responders and Military), you will just have to verify yourself and you can do this here.
